SBS torch on bitumen waterproofing roofing sheets membrane is modified bitumen waterproof membrane ,have modified asphalt by plastic modifier or other modifiers to improve its quality, widely used for waterproofing on the roofing,underground,bathroom...of construction...and the project of road,bridge,parking,pool,garden....
On both sides have isolate materials and with the base mat PY (polyester mat), G (fiberglass compound mat),Etc.
Upper surface isolate material:
Polyethylene film (PE),Aluminum film(PET), sand (S), mineral flakes (M),Etc.
SBS torch on bitumen waterproofing roofing sheets membrane is featured by high tensile strength, great elongation, good stability, small shrinkage, good resistance to weathering and root penetration, and long service life.

Due to unique product formulation, the product has the longer life far beyond the usual waterproof material. The exposed water system is over 5--10 years on the roof and 30--50 years underground. It is widely used in construction and civil engineering.
Features:
***High Impermeability ,high tensile strength, high extension coefficient good dimensional stability, adopting shocking well to substratum contraction deformation and crack.
***puncture resistance,tear resistance, corrosion resistance, mildew resistance, good weather ability.
***Good property of resistance high and low temperature. SBS is suitable for the lower temperature environment but APP for the higher temperature environment.
***Perfect durability, long life
***Either heating and melting method or cold adhesive method, either single or multiple layer.
***Neither dripping in high temperature nor breaking in low temperature, no pollution to environment and convenient installation.
Construction:
1)Situation
1.The base should be dry and clean. Do not work in the rainy or snowy day.
2.Do not work under heavy wind(above 5 grade)
3.Unsuitable for construction below 5°C
4.If it is rain or snow in the process of construction, protective measure to the laid membrane is must.
5.All the workers should put on special uniforms to keep safe when installing. There should be extinguisher for fire controls.
2)Torch applied method
1. Base processing: the base surface musts be clean,solid,level,dry;no grit,rift and loosing dust. For a large recess, fill it with cement mortar and then level it. Remove the protrusion and clean dust If working on base slab or lateral face,water lowering should be done.
2.Painting primer before laying the membrane, clean the dust on the surface of concrete base with dust catcher or dust-blower; then paint entirely with treatment agent of DIY primer for waterproofing(for purpose of dust consolidation and high adhesive effect).
3.Deal with the details and nodes in advance,such as,gutter, parapet..etc
4.Heat to melt: place membrane correctly, fire torch, heat the membrane with base entirely, when the surface of the membrane is black and bright with a fusion layer, apply the membrane and press it into a solid and flat state.Before the membrane is cool, seal the edge of joint .
5.Requirements for lapping: There should be less than 3 layers of lapping, with the joint seams appearing as"T" type,avoid 4 layers of lapping.The width of longitudinal lapping is between 50 and 80mm,and of end-lap joint 100mm
6.Use a roller to push hard the membrane surface to ensure it stick firmly.
7: Acceptance check.

Storage and transportation:
1.Different items, models, dimensions and grades should be stored separately.
2. Put the product in a dry ventilated place with the temperature lower than 50'c and the height less than 2 layers.
3.It will not be factory if any problems caused by wrong transportation or storage or the storage years are more than a year.
4.All the rolls should be erect without any putting across or incline. Cover the canvas when necessary.
